Brian Youngson rejoins the Smoke Eater staff for his second season as assistant coach.

A former defenseman, Brian played 3 years of Junior A Hockey in the Rocky Mountain, and North American Junior Leagues before earning a Scholarship to St. Norbert College in 2000.

Following his playing career, he coached two seasons of Minor Hockey in Coquitlam, before returning to his alma-matter in Fernie where he was an assistant coach for two seasons with the Ghostriders of the KIJHL.

Brian will be responsible for much of the Smoke Eaters off-ice training and conditioning programs as well as individual skill development.
