Geoff is an award-winning (RTDNA/Edward R. Murrow) and Gemini-nominated videographer with 25 years of broadcast television experience on multiple levels, including community programming, commercial and corporate production, sports, local and national news.
Geoff began his broadcasting career right here in the West Kootenay in the early 90s, covering local events, including 'live' coverage of Smokies games. Shooting and producing hockey for broadcast has always been a passion of Geoff's, and he's thrilled to be back in the Kootenays, working with such an amazing organization as the Trail Smoke Eaters.
In addition to broadcast operations, Geoff is also responsible for the Smoke Eaters' online presence, including web, social media and visual marketing.
Wylie grew up in Burnaby and Vancouver and has been living in the Kootenays since graduating from BCIT's Radio Arts and Entertainment program in 2015.
Henderson is an active volunteer in the local junior hockey scene. He is the play-by-play broadcaster for a number of teams in the area including the BCHL's Trail Smoke Eaters, the Nelson Leafs with the KIJHL and the Selkirk College Saints of the BCIHL.
Wylie's full-time duties as a News and Sports Reporter with Vista Radio for a network of radio stations keep him very busy within the West Kootenay-Boundary.
