The Trail Smoke Eaters have completed the trade that saw Carter Cochrane join the team at the January deadline in exchange for future considerations. Trail defenseman, Mitchell Stapley has been moved to the Salmon Arm Silverbacks to complete this deal.
In two seasons with the Smoke Eaters, the 19-year-old defenseman contributed 38-points from the back end. The entire organization would like to thank Mitchell for his contributions to our team and community and expect that he will be successful with the Silverbacks in the coming season.
