Transitioning into contact hockey can be a big step. This camp helps players develop the confidence, awareness, and proper technique needed to play physical hockey safely and effectively. Emphasis is placed on body control, positioning, and making smart decisions in contact situations.
Players will learn how to give and receive contact while protecting themselves and respecting the game.
Instruction Includes:
• Proper body positioning and leverage
• Angling and gap control
• Balance, stability, and core strength on contact
• Safe checking techniques and contact awareness

• 4 hours of on-ice instruction

• Time: 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
