Trail, British Columbia (March 29th, 2023) – The Smoke Eaters are excited to announce the commitment of 20-year-old defenceman Jordan Hendry to the University of Waterloo.
Hendry, a four year BCHL and Trail Smoke Eaters veteran, has committed to the Waterloo University Warriors for next season. Hendry has played over 150 BCHL games, dating back to when he made is BCHL debut during the 2018/19 season. During his twenty year old season, Hendry set a personal best for goals and points in a season, tallying five goals and collecting 18 points from the blueline. Hendry is one of the longest serving Smoke Eaters in team history, ranking fourth amongst defenceman in all time games played.
