Trail, British Columbia (April 19th, 2023) – The Trail Smoke Eaters are excited to announce that 2022/23 team captain Evan Bushy has committed to the Lake Superior State University Lakers NCAA Div I. program for next season!
Bushy, following the conclusion of his 20-year-old as a Smoke Eater has confirmed his hockey and education future with his commitment to Lake Superior State University. Bushy collected a total of 69 points in 115 total games between the regular season and playoffs during his two year Smoke Eaters career. Bushy was added to the leadership group during the second half of his first season and earned the captaincy in his second season.
