MARCOUX NAMED BCHL POW

Adam Marcoux had the busiest week of any BCHL netminder in recent memory as he started all four Smokies games, winning three of them. He faced 149 shots and turned away 139 of them for a .933 save percentage. The Calgary native made 40 saves and was 1st Star in a 2-1 home win over the Wenatchee Wild and followed that with 32 saves in a 3-2 road win in Coquitlam. In a 5-2 victory in Langley, he made 38 saves and was named 3rd Star. His fourth start of the week brought 29 more saves in an overtime loss to Surrey.
