Jeff Urekar Accepts Head Coach Position At OHA
Trail, British Columbia (August 25th, 2021) – The Trail Smoke Eaters are pleased to announce that assistant general manager and assistant coach Jeff Urekar has accepted a head coaching position with the Okanagan Hockey Academy out of Penticton, coaching the U15 team.
Urekar will continue with the Smoke Eaters but in a different role as the teams Director of Scouting and Player Personnel.
“The Smoke Eaters are excited to keep Jeff as a member of our organization as the teams Director of Scouting and player personnel. We feel his role with OHA will allow him to best identify players throughout BC, Canada and North America that will fit well in Trail and help continue to build towards a BCHL championship.” – Craig Clare, Director of Hockey Operations.
The Smoke Eaters want to wish him the best of luck with OHA and look forward to working with Urekar in his new role with the Smoke Eaters.
