After back to back edge of your seat 2-1 games on home ice that went against the Smoke Eaters, they’ll now head to Penticton with their season on the line. The argument can easily be made that at the very least this series should be tied at two, whether it was game three or game four, the Smoke Eaters had the game within their grasp but had to painfully watch it slip away. Regardless of the that they now have one thing on their mind and that’s to extend their season a few more days. It’ll be a week ago tonight that the Smoke Eaters walked into Penticton and stole game 1 by a score of 5-3. They’ll be hoping to replicate that performance again tonight.

The Vees however have held the Smoke Eaters to just one goal a game for the last three after allowing five in game one. The Smoke Eaters know that they’ll need their big guns to step up tonight and find the back of the net. The Vees have gotten that with Nadeau and Moravec finding the score sheet in game four, giving the Vees the edge they needed. They’ll know however that the fourth game is the hardest to win and this series has been anything but easy for either side. Kaeden Lane will need to continue his great play of late has he’s been a big reason why the Vees have been able to jump out to a 3-1 lead. The Smoke Eaters will look to get after him early again tonight to try and force a game six.
