Tonight the Smoke Eaters come in with a five game point streak while the Vees have won their last five games. The Smokies are coming off that shootout loss on Saturday to the Silverbacks and sit just four points behind the Vees, for first in the interior. Ozar again finds himself on a seven game point streak and was given an honourable mention in the BCHL Player of the Week for his 1G-6A week. Philippe Lapointe was also given and honorable mention for collecting eight points in the past week, that included 4G-4A. Lapointe also has goals in his last three games.

The last game saw the Vees sneak out a 4-2 win as Jay O’Brien got an empty net goal with the Smoke Eaters knocking at the door in the final minutes of the third. They’ll hope for some bounces to go their way tonight.
