The Trail Smoke Eaters will breathe a sigh of relief as they pick up a massive 5-1 win Saturday night for their first of the year.

The Smokies kept going with Tyler Ghirardosi banging in a rebound to make it 2-0

The Smokies would get their third of the period courtesy of Owen Ozar, who put the puck in off the back of Baierto make it 3-0. The Warriors would get one past Terness however late as Dent would beat Terness to make it 3-1 going to the break.
