Smoke Eater goaltender, Bailey MacBurnie, has committed to NCAA Division 1, Sacred Heart University Pioneers. The Pioneers play in the NCAA Division 1 Atlantic Conference which consists of 11 teams. The Pioneers currently sit in 7th place with 18 points, 10 points out of first place and only two points out of 5th place.
Sacred Heart University is a Roman Catholic University located in suburban Farfield, Connecticut, USA. Sacred Heart is the second largest Catholic University in New England behind Boston College and offers more than 40 degree programs to over 7,500 students at the bachelor, master and doctoral levels.
Bailey has been named a star in many of the Smoke Eater games this season, including a player of the week award, and has definitely been instrumental in backstopping Trail to a number of their recent wins.
