Community Development / Skill Development Programming
• Be lead on organizing of sessions and scheduling of coaches’ ice times
• Lead for organizing and filling team development/ID camps.
• Lead with organization and on ice skill sessions for Trail Smoke Eaters skill camps, and minor hockey skill development in season.
Coaching Responsibilities
• Assist the coaching staff with YTP (Yearly Training Plan) practice planning, scheduling & player development on and off ice. This includes team systems, tactics and strategies, along with morning activity sessions and individual player video meetings.
• Assist with development during games & practices with the coaching staff.
• Lead statistical/analytics individual & team packages.
• Assist in opponents pre-scout with a detailed report of systems, tactics and statistics along with necessary team video presentations.
• Assist Athletic Therapist and/or Strength & Conditioning Coach with in-season off-ice training plan and supervision of players during morning sessions.
Administrative, Scouting & Recruiting
• Assist with team travel. Hotels, bus bookings and meals for all road trips, including providing team travel itineraries to all players & staff.
• Assist with player identification, recruitment and scouting from all leagues.
• Assist in current roster depth charts as well as scouted and recruited players for sharing with scouting staff across Canada, US, and Europe.
• Assist by attending ID/Showcases for player scouting & recruitment within team budgets.
• Lead off-season operational duties when required.
