Trail, British Columbia (December 29th, 2021) – Brady Hunter commits to NCAA Division 1 Merrimack College for the 2023-24 season!
The Trail Smoke Eaters are excited to announce that forward Brady Hunter has committed to the Merrimack Warriors, who play in the Hockey East division. Hunter, who is in his second season with the Smoke Eaters, hailing from Enfield, Nova Scotia, currently shares the team lead in points with 30 in 21 games and has the eighth best points per game ratio at 1.43 in the BCHL. Hunter who has been leading the way all season for the Smoke Eaters, has been a obvious standout and one of the Smoke Eaters most improved players over last year.

With Hunter committing for 2023/24 he will have the opportunity to come back in his 20-year-old season and build upon what’s already been an impressive season from the Smoke Eater forward. The Smoke Eaters would like to extend their congratulations to Brady and his family on this achievement!
