With the Merritt Centennials loss to Salmon Arm on Sunday afternoon, the Trail Smoke Eaters will not finish any lower than fourth place in the Interior Division and will have home ice advantage in the first round of the playoffs. There is still a possibility that they could finish third, as they are currently tied with West Kelowna at 56 points. West Kelowna has three games remaining and Trail has two. First round of the playoffs begin on Friday, March 3rd.
