PREVIEW: Smoke Eaters Host Warriors In First Half Of Home And Home

The Trail Smoke Eaters will welcome in their interior division rivals the West Kelowna Warriors Friday night, as both teams play their second to last preseason game. The Warriors are coming off a lopsided loss to the Penticton Vees on Wednesday night where they fell 9-1. The Smoke Eaters are also coming off a loss as they split last weekend with the Grand Prairie Storm of the AJHL, losing 4-3 on Sunday afternoon.

The Warriors will cap of a busy six game preseason schedule this weekend where they have gone 1-3 through the first four. Head coach Brandon West will be looking to tighten things up this weekend, as the team still had a 30 man rosters as of Wednesday night in Penticton.

ICYMI: Smoke Eaters name three assistant captains for the 2019-2020 season 

The Smoke Eaters kick off the first of two games vs the Warriors at home Friday night before making the trip to the Okanagan on Saturday. These teams will meet for the first time in the regular season on September 21st in West Kelowna.
