PREVIEW – Smoke Eaters Wrap Up Island Trip In Victoria

Coming off an exciting 8-4 win on Saturday night in Cowichan, the Smoke Eaters wrap up their three game island trip in Victoria.

The Smoke Eaters won a back and forth game in Cowichan on Saturday night as Trey Fechko put up five points in the win, giving him 8 on the weekend as the Smoke Eaters won 8-4. They’ll look to replicate that performance against a Grizzlies team that’s been trending in the right direction as of late and are a team that don’t allow many goals. The Smoke Eaters powerplay will also be tested as the Grizzlies host the second best penalty kill. Trail have ran 11 forwards and 7 defenceman all weekend and for the most part it’s worked in their favour. Short shifts on both side of the ice will be important with both teams playing their third game in two and a half days.

Remissong (8-6-14)
Fechko (5-8-13)
