The Smoke Eaters are both excited and saddened to announce that defenceman Joel Barton will not be returning to play junior hockey next season, but he is taking the next step in his educational career. Barton will be attending the University of Western Ontario and will be studying Medical Sciences. While we will miss having Joel around the team we couldn’t be happier for him as he continues on with his education!
