Trail, British Columbia (August 9, 2023) – The Smoke Eaters are excited to welcome Emily Michalchuk as the team’s new Certified Athletic Therapist & Trainer.
Michalchuk joins the Trail Smoke Eaters for their first season in the BCHL. Emily is a Certified Athletic Therapist, having graduated from Camosun College in 2022. Originally from Victoria, BC, Emily has been living and working in Edmonton, AB since completing their studies. In Edmonton, they have had the opportunity to work as an Athletic Therapist at MacEwan University and with the CEBL’s Edmonton Stingers. They are also bringing in hockey experience, having worked with teams in the CSSHL, HSL, and KIJHL.

The Smoke Eaters would like to welcome Emily to the team and look forward to working together for the upcoming 2023-24 season.
The team would also like to thank Joseph De Marco for his service to the team and city of Trail, and wish him all the best as he continues his hockey journey in his home province of Ontario.
