Trail, British Columbia (January 10th, 2021) – Smoke Eaters add US born forward Remissong from the Merritt Centennials.
The Smoke Eaters are excited to welcome in Nicholas Remissong to the team as the Smoke Eaters acquire him from the Merritt Centennials in exchange for Jackson Krill. Remissong, from Lake Forest, Illinois, made his way to the BCHL last season after being recruited by the Vernon Vipers, who he played with during the pod season last year and for 17 games to start this season before being dealt to Merritt as part of a separate transaction. In 20 games this season the 19-year-old, 6’ft, left shot forward has two goals and two assists both coming during his time as a Viper.
The Smoke Eaters would like to thank Jackson for his contributions to the Smoke Eaters over the last year and a half and wish him the best in Merritt. We’re excited to add Nicholas and his family to the Smoke Eaters family and look forward to having him join the team very shortly.
