On Sunday November, 1 the Colombo Lodge hosted the Trail Junior Smoke Eater Players at there monthly supper meeting. The players were treated to a fantastic Italian fiest and participated in what is hailed as an annual Tibits tournament. The Colombo Lodge has been graciously hosting the Smoke Eaters annually and fun was had by all.
The winning team in the tournament consisted of captain Terry Colautti, of the Colombo Lodge and Jake Kauppila and Kienan Scott of the Smoke Eaters. Runners-up were the team of Dave Nutini, Livio Allegretto of the Colombo Lodge and Nii Noi Tetteh of the Smoke Eaters.
During the supper the players are spread throughout the hall and seated at different tables intermingled with Lodge members. Hopefully all players will come away with a little better understanding of the Italian culture and possibly winemaking secrets.
